May Day, or International Workers' Day, is celebrated each year on May 1 around the world. The day was first recognized in the 1880s in Chicago as part of the movement for an 8-hour workday.
While May Day is not officially recognized in the United States, it has remained a moment for workers to come together to celebrate labor solidarity and push for progress.
Attached is the list of workshops for each day of the conference. Please remember that if you choose a workshop with a continuing session, you must also select the continuing session. If you do not, we must adjust, which may disrupt your other preferred workshop options. Space is limited; you must be a conference-paid and registered attendee to select a workshop. Please put number one for your first choice and two for your second choice. We will do our best to accommodate all attendees. Thank you.
